Riyadh Air opened ticket sales for daily nonstop flights between King Khalid International Airport (RUH) in Riyadh and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (BOM) in Mumbai on July 6, 2026, with service scheduled to begin August 4, according to AeroRoutes and FlightGlobal.
The route uses the carrier's Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner in a four-class configuration: business elite, business, premium economy, and economy, per Economy Class & Beyond. Outbound flights depart Riyadh at 14:05 and arrive Mumbai at 20:35 local time; the return departs Mumbai at 22:05 and arrives Riyadh at 23:50.
Mumbai is Riyadh Air's first Indian destination and its tenth in a network that launched commercial operations in June 2026 with flights to London Heathrow, per Aviation Week. The carrier says the service will target business, leisure, and visiting friends and relatives demand, with onward connections via Riyadh to London, Madrid, Jeddah, and Cairo.
Tony Douglas, CEO of Riyadh Air, said in a statement: "With India emerging as one of the fastest-growing aviation markets globally, we are delighted to offer travelers a new premium choice and enhanced global connectivity from Mumbai to Riyadh, and onwards to Europe."
The Mumbai launch is part of Riyadh Air's broader east-of-Suez expansion, which also includes Kuala Lumpur (July 30) and Dhaka (August 7), as the airline pursues its Vision 2030 goal of serving more than 100 destinations by 2030.
