Air Canada will launch seasonal nonstop service between Montréal–Trudeau International Airport (YUL) and Tenerife South Airport (TFS) on October 31, 2026, operating as flight AC956. The route runs through April 24, 2027 — up to twice weekly — using Air Canada's 182-seat Airbus A321XLR configured with 14 Signature Class and 168 Economy Class seats.
According to Cirium schedule data cited by Simple Flying, the service initially operates Saturdays only until January 23, 2027, when a Tuesday frequency is added through March 23. Flight AC956 departs Montréal at 20:10/22:30 (depending on day) and arrives Tenerife South at 10:00/08:20 the following morning; the return flight AC957 departs Tenerife at 11:15 and arrives Montréal at 14:30 (6 hours 50 minutes westbound, 8 hours 15 minutes eastbound).
TravelPulse Canada confirmed the route, noting it will be the only nonstop service from North America to Tenerife. Air Canada's Chief Commercial Officer Mark Galardo previously described the addition as part of cementing "one of the most far-reaching" global networks from North America.
