JetBlue launched daily nonstop service between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and Indianapolis International Airport (IND) on November 2, 2026, introducing Indianapolis as an entirely new city in the carrier's network. The route operates once daily on Airbus A320 aircraft, with outbound flight B6 232 departing Fort Lauderdale at 7:00 p.m. and arriving in Indianapolis at 9:39 p.m.; return flight B6 235 departs Indianapolis at 6:00 a.m. and arrives in Fort Lauderdale at 8:45 a.m. (all times local), per JetBlue's official press release.
The Indianapolis service is part of JetBlue's aggressive Fort Lauderdale expansion following Spirit Airlines' collapse. The airline has added 15 destinations from Fort Lauderdale in 2026, with its share of scheduled seats at the airport expected to reach roughly 37% in Q4 2026, up 14 percentage points year-over-year, according to Simple Flying. Fort Lauderdale recently overtook New York JFK as JetBlue's busiest airport by scheduled departures.
JetBlue SVP of Revenue Daniel Shurz said the launch gives Indianapolis travelers nonstop access to South Florida and onward connections across the Caribbean and Latin America through the Fort Lauderdale hub. Limited promotional one-way fares from $59 were offered to mark the opening, according to FTT News.
