Akasa Air will launch four-times-weekly nonstop service between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai (BOM) and Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi (HAN) from 4 September 2026, using Boeing 737-8 aircraft. Flights operate on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Flight QP 0625 departs Mumbai at 05:35 and arrives Hanoi at 12:00; the return, QP 0626, departs Hanoi at 13:30 and arrives Mumbai at 17:10, per The Economic Times.
The route marks Akasa Air's entry into Vietnam and its seventh international destination overall, according to the airline as cited by Travel Daily Media. Hanoi has seen rising demand from Indian travelers driven by Vietnam's cultural appeal and expanding trade links between the two countries. Co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer Anand Srinivasan said the launch "strengthens our presence in South Asia and marks another step in our effort to build a network that connects India with dynamic global destinations."
Akasa Air launched in August 2022 and now operates 26 domestic and six other international destinations, having carried more than 26 million passengers since inception, per The Economic Times. Aviation Week confirms the 4x-weekly frequency and 737-8 aircraft type.
