LOT Polish Airlines has opened ticket sales for a new year-round nonstop service between Warsaw Chopin Airport (WAW) and Noi Bai International Airport Hanoi (HAN), with the inaugural flight scheduled for March 31, 2027, according to Business Traveller.
The Star Alliance carrier will operate three weekly flights using Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft. Outbound flights depart Warsaw on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 15:15 local time, arriving in Hanoi the following morning; return flights depart Hanoi on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 08:25 local time, arriving Warsaw at 14:40. Flight time is approximately 10 hours and 25 minutes eastbound and 11 hours and 20 minutes westbound, FTNNews confirmed.
Hanoi becomes LOT's fifth long-haul destination in Asia, joining Tokyo, Seoul, New Delhi and Bangkok. Vietnam Airlines and Turkish Airlines are currently the only carriers operating their own aircraft nonstop between Europe and Hanoi, Business Traveller noted.
"Vietnam is one of the most dynamically developing markets in Asia, and its importance for Polish business and tourism is steadily growing. The launch of the Hanoi route reflects our ambition to further strengthen LOT Polish Airlines' presence in Asia and continue developing our Warsaw hub as a gateway between Central and Eastern Europe and some of the world's most promising destinations," LOT CCO Robert Ludera said, as quoted by Aviation Week. Flight schedule and booking details were confirmed by TTR Weekly.
