Saudi low-cost carrier flyadeal launched five-weekly nonstop flights between Riyadh (RUH) and Mumbai (BOM) on October 3, 2026, adding its second destination in India.
The inaugural Riyadh to Mumbai flight was piloted by flyadeal Chief Operating Officer Captain Abdulaziz Bahri alongside Chief Pilot Captain Ali Hakim, according to 50 Sky Shades. The route is operated with Airbus A320neo aircraft in an all-economy 186-seat configuration, adding over 7,400 seats per month between the two cities. Flights do not operate on Tuesdays, per pre-launch schedule information from Wego.
Services are timed to offer mid-morning arrivals in Riyadh and morning arrivals in Mumbai, designed to support onward connections within Saudi Arabia to Abha, Dammam, Jeddah, and Madinah. Passengers can book onward domestic sectors on a single itinerary with through-checked baggage, the airline said.
Mumbai follows Hyderabad, where flyadeal began operations on July 3, 2026, marking its entry into India. Sanjiv Kapoor, acting Chief Executive Officer of flyadeal and Executive Vice President, Strategies at Saudia Group, said India was a strategic priority as the airline expands its international network, as quoted by Economic Times TravelWorld.
flyadeal is the low-cost subsidiary of Saudia Group and one of the Gulf Cooperation Council's largest budget carriers.
