Porter Airlines will launch three weekly nonstop flights between London International Airport (YXU) in Ontario and Orlando International Airport (MCO) beginning November 19, 2026, the carrier confirmed in a joint press release with London International Airport.
Flights operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays using Porter's 132-seat Embraer E195-E2. The YXU–MCO service launches one day after Porter's inaugural Fort Lauderdale flights from the same airport, part of a coordinated four-route winter debut at London's airport.
According to Business Wire via Yahoo Finance, all four winter routes from YXU — Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Cancún and Montego Bay — use the E195-E2, which Porter operates without middle seats and with complimentary snacks, beer and wine, and free Wi-Fi. The aircraft configuration suits leisure demand on the Florida corridor, where the airline will compete with existing connecting itineraries routed through Toronto Pearson.
Porter's entry gives travellers in Southwestern Ontario — historically underserved by nonstop leisure routes — their first direct connection to the Orlando market. London International Airport CEO Scott McFadzean noted that residents had long been required to travel outside the region to access the connectivity they needed.
Porter has confirmed plans to launch a year-round domestic network from YXU in summer 2027. TravelPulse Canada described the announcement as the first time a major Canadian carrier has committed to building a multi-route scheduled network from London, Ontario.
