The airline operates three main hubs: Toronto–Billy Bishop (for regional flights), Toronto–Pearson (its primary hub for North American destinations), and Ottawa Macdonald-Cartier (a secondary hub and primary maintenance facility for its Embraer E195-E2 fleet).
Porter's fleet consists of De Havilland Canada Dash 8-400 turboprop aircraft (29 in service) and Embraer E195-E2 jet aircraft (52 in service, with 23 on order and purchase rights for an additional 25). Porter is not part of any major airline alliance like Star Alliance, SkyTeam, or Oneworld.
Notable services include its "elevated economy" experience, offering complimentary snacks and beverages, including free beer and wine served in glassware on all flights. On its Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, passengers also enjoy free Wi-Fi and fresh food on flights over 150 minutes. The airline offers a premium economy product called PorterReserve, which provides enhanced legroom, premium snacks, and free meals on flights over 2.5 hours.
