TAP Air Portugal will begin nonstop service between Lisbon Humberto Delgado Airport (LIS) and Orlando International Airport (MCO) on October 29, 2026, operating three times weekly on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays as flights TP267 and TP268. The launch gives TAP its first-ever direct link to Central Florida and its ninth US gateway, according to AeroXplorer.
The 4,132-mile (6,648 km) route has a scheduled block time of 9 hours and 50 minutes westbound and 7 hours and 50 minutes eastbound, according to Simple Flying. All rotations will be flown with the Airbus A330-900neo, which features 34 lie-flat Business Class seats and the carrier's Economy Prime cabin.
The route was confirmed by CEO Luís Rodrigues and first announced at the Lisbon Tourism Fair in February 2026. TAP positioned the service as serving both Central Florida's Portuguese diaspora and leisure travelers who can connect onward through Lisbon to Europe and Africa. UpgradedPoints notes the route gives Star Alliance travelers a new transatlantic award option.
With the Orlando addition, TAP will offer more than 82 weekly North American flights in winter 2026/27, the airline's largest-ever winter transatlantic schedule and 7% above the same period last year, per Simple Flying.
