Porter Airlines launched twice-daily nonstop service between Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (YTZ) and Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD) on October 26, 2026, the carrier announced via a Business Wire press release. The route is operated using Porter's 78-seat De Havilland Dash 8-400 aircraft.

The schedule features Toronto departures at 10:10 a.m. and 4:35 p.m., arriving at O'Hare at 11:05 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Northbound flights depart Chicago at 11:45 a.m. and 6:10 p.m., arriving at Billy Bishop at 2:25 p.m. and 8:50 p.m., per the official press release.

The launch moves Porter's Chicago service from Chicago Midway (MDW) to O'Hare, unlocking codeshare connections through partner American Airlines to Denver, Houston, Minneapolis, Orange County, San Diego and Seattle, Travel Market Report reports. Passengers also benefit from U.S. Customs and Border Protection Preclearance at Billy Bishop, clearing US entry formalities in Toronto before departure, per the press release.

Porter's Dash 8-400 fleet is currently undergoing a cabin refresh with Expliseat TiSeat 2V Lite seating, adding improved cushioning, device holders, LED mood lighting and new carpeting, Travel Agent Central notes.
