LOT Polish Airlines resumed nonstop service between Warsaw Chopin Airport (WAW) and Bangkok Suvarnabhumi (BKK) on October 7, 2026, ending a 26-year absence. The carrier last operated a scheduled service to Bangkok in March 2000.

Flights are operated by Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft. The outbound journey from Warsaw takes approximately 10 hours and 20 minutes, with the return from Bangkok taking approximately 11 hours and 15 minutes, per Aviation24.be.

The route initially runs three times weekly. Warsaw departures operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays at 15:45 local time, with returns from Bangkok on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays at 09:05. Frequencies increase from October 26 with the start of the Northern Hemisphere winter season: LOT will lift to five weekly Warsaw departures through late October before increasing to six weekly from November 2 through March 2027. For summer 2027, the airline plans three weekly services year-round, according to LOT's press office.

The route was launched in partnership with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT). TAT Governor Thapanee Kiatphaibool said the service reflected international airlines' confidence in Thailand's tourism potential and was aimed at attracting higher-spending, longer-stay visitors from Poland and Central Europe, as reported by Nation Thailand. Thailand forecasts approximately 250,000 Polish visitors in 2026.

LOT first served Bangkok in 1977 via intermediate stops and later operated nonstop services before suspending scheduled service in March 2000.
