Outbound Copenhagen departures (SK969) operate at 13:10, arriving Mumbai at 01:30+1 IST. Return flights (SK970) depart Mumbai at 06:00 and land in Copenhagen at 11:45. The route operates on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, as confirmed in the official SAS press release and PDF flight details.
The launch marks SAS's return to the Indian subcontinent after 17 years — the carrier last served Delhi in 2009. It is the first-ever direct service between Copenhagen and Mumbai, and only the second nonstop link between India and Scandinavia alongside Air India's Delhi–Copenhagen route. Simple Flying reports that widebody availability and closed Russian airspace had previously delayed the Mumbai launch.
Flight times are timed to support seamless connections through Copenhagen to SAS's North American network, including New York, Boston, and Toronto, strengthening the carrier's value as a one-stop option between India and the US east coast.
