Kuwait-based low-cost carrier Jazeera Airways will launch direct flights between Kuwait International Airport (KWI) and London Luton Airport (LTN) on July 8, 2026, according to Connecting Travel. The service initially operates four times weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, before increasing to daily flights from August 1 through the end of the seasonal operation on September 21.
Flights are operated with Airbus A320neo aircraft. The outbound service (J9-001) departs Kuwait at 09:10 and arrives in London at 14:00; the return (J9-002) departs Luton at 14:45 and arrives back in Kuwait at 23:05, per Simple Flying. The block time of approximately 6 hours 50 minutes makes this Jazeera's longest route and, at the same time, the longest route at LTN by both distance and flying time.
According to Aviation Week, Jazeera becomes the first Gulf carrier to serve Luton, which is London's fourth-busiest airport. The airline last operated London flights in 2020, and previously served Gatwick rather than Luton. Round-trip fares start from KD 239 (approximately US$774). The route follows Jazeera's recent European network expansion, which has included the addition of direct Kuwait–Milan Bergamo service. The airline operates from Terminal 5 at Kuwait International Airport.
