flydubai will launch daily nonstop service between Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Pokhara International Airport (PKH) in Nepal from September 23, 2026, becoming the first UAE carrier to operate direct flights to Pokhara, according to Business Traveller.
The inaugural inbound flight is scheduled to land in Pokhara at 6:15 PM local time, with the return departure to Dubai at 7:15 PM, according to Nepal News. Passengers at Pokhara will be welcomed with a traditional water cannon salute.
Pokhara becomes flydubai's second destination in Nepal alongside Kathmandu (KTM), as noted by Aviation Week. The new service allows trekkers heading to the Annapurna range to fly directly to Pokhara without transiting through Kathmandu. Pokhara International Airport opened for commercial operations in 2023.
flydubai's codeshare partnership with Emirates means Dubai-transiting passengers from Pokhara can connect onward to Emirates destinations under a single ticket. Nepal News reported the carrier initially announced one month of daily flights but has since opened bookings through March 26, 2027.
