Emirates commenced daily service between Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Helsinki Vantaa Airport (HEL) on October 1, 2026, establishing the only year-round nonstop connection between Finland and the United Arab Emirates. The airline deploys its three-class Airbus A350-900 on the route, offering Business Class, Premium Economy and Economy seating (Emirates).
Flight EK167 departs Dubai at 08:15, arriving in Helsinki at 14:30. The return flight EK168 departs Helsinki at 16:20, landing in Dubai at 00:20 the following morning (Economy Class & Beyond).
A statement attributed to Helsinki Airport officials described the launch as "a significant addition to Finland's international connectivity, strengthening links between Finland and the Middle East, as well as Asia, Africa and Australia through Emirates' extensive global network" and welcomed the "luxurious Airbus A350" as an enhancement to the onboard experience on the Helsinki route (Economy Class & Beyond).
On the Helsinki end, Emirates joins Qatar Airways and Turkish Airlines as the only Gulf and Middle Eastern carriers currently serving the Finnish capital. The inaugural flight included commemorative keepsakes for passengers including a collectable red leather pouch, a miniature A350 charm and a certificate celebrating the inaugural flight.
