JetBlue launched daily nonstop service between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH) on November 2, 2026, marking the carrier's return to Columbus after an absence from the market. The route operates once daily on Airbus A320 aircraft, with outbound flight B6 1508 departing Fort Lauderdale at 7:00 p.m. and arriving in Columbus at 9:45 p.m.; return flight B6 1507 departs Columbus at 6:00 a.m. and arrives in Fort Lauderdale at 8:44 a.m. (all times local), per JetBlue's official press release.
The Columbus launch is part of JetBlue's broader Fort Lauderdale expansion following the collapse of Spirit Airlines. JetBlue has added 15 destinations from Fort Lauderdale in 2026, with its share of scheduled seats at the airport expected to reach roughly 37% in Q4 2026, up 14 percentage points year-over-year, according to Simple Flying. Fort Lauderdale recently overtook New York JFK as JetBlue's busiest airport by scheduled departures.
Columbus Airport celebrated the launch on November 2. Limited promotional one-way fares from $59 were offered to mark the opening, with booking required by November 3, 2026, according to FTT News. JetBlue CEO Joanna Geraghty described the Fort Lauderdale expansion as "building on our already strong foundation by adding more destinations, creating more connections."
