Ryanair will launch service between Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN) and Wroclaw Airport (WRO) from October 25, 2026, the start of the IATA winter 2026/27 season. The route is one of five new Swedish connections announced September 10 under the carrier's record winter 2026 programme for Sweden, per the Ryanair corporate press release. Boeing 737 aircraft based at Stockholm Arlanda will operate the service.

Ryanair's winter 2026 Sweden schedule covers 43 routes with eight based aircraft, including one additional Boeing 737 newly stationed at Arlanda. The programme targets 4.6 million annual passengers in Sweden, a 16% increase, with total fleet investment across Sweden valued at US$800 million. Alongside Stockholm–Wroclaw, the winter expansion adds Stockholm–Rabat, Stockholm–Warsaw, Gothenburg–Budapest, and Malmö–London, per Aviation24.be.

Wroclaw is Poland's fourth-largest city and a growing tech and business centre in Lower Silesia, home to major companies in the automotive, IT, and financial services sectors. The new service offers a direct, low-cost connection between Scandinavia and southwestern Poland — a market without an existing nonstop link on Ryanair's network.

Ryanair CEO Eddie Wilson flagged concern over Swedavia's plans to raise airport security fees by up to 67% from March 2027, warning that Sweden's competitive aviation environment could be damaged if the government does not intervene to reverse the increase.
