Delta Air Lines will begin daily nonstop service between Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) and Keflavík International Airport (KEF) near Reykjavík, Iceland, on April 12, 2027, the airline announced on October 16, 2026. The seasonal service runs through October 30 aboard a Boeing 757-200 featuring Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort and Delta Main cabins — no Delta One lie-flat beds, per The Points Guy.
Reykjavík will become Delta's 14th unique long-haul destination from Boston during the peak summer season and its 16th international destination from Logan. The new BOS–KEF route joins three other additions to Delta's 2027 transatlantic season: Boston–Venice (May 7, 4x weekly), Detroit–Athens (June 8, 3x weekly) and Austin–Paris (March 27, daily), plus increased Boston–Milan frequencies, per the official press release.
Delta first flew the Boston–Reykjavík market in May 2021 before exiting, per The Points Guy. The carrier will compete with Icelandair, which held approximately 77% of departures in the Boston–Keflavík corridor; budget carrier Play ceased operations in September 2025, per Aviacionline. Boston is Delta's closest U.S. hub to Europe, making it central to the carrier's transatlantic growth strategy.
