Air Arabia KSA began twice-daily service between Dammam's King Fahd International Airport (DMM) and Riyadh's King Khalid International Airport (RUH) on 20 September 2026, using Airbus A320 aircraft. The Dammam–Riyadh frequency matches the carrier's Dammam–Jeddah service and represents the highest-frequency operations in its inaugural three-route network.
The airline is operated by a consortium of Air Arabia Group, Nesma Group, and KUN Holding Company with majority Saudi ownership. GACA issued its Air Operating Certificate on 14 September 2026, six days before launch. The official press release describes the launch as a milestone for Eastern Province air connectivity and frames the carrier within Saudi Vision 2030's Aviation Program goals.
Dammam–Riyadh is one of Saudi Arabia's highest-demand domestic city pairs, linking the Kingdom's main industrial and petrochemical hub with the national capital. The corridor is already served by Saudia and flyadeal, and Air Arabia KSA's entry adds a third operator with a low-cost positioning. The airline has publicly indicated plans to extend its network to international destinations in subsequent phases.
AeroRoutes confirmed the Dammam–Riyadh schedule with bookings available from 21 September. Arabian Business separately reported the September 20 launch with Riyadh named as one of three inaugural destinations.
