Vietnam Airlines will launch daily nonstop flights between Da Nang International Airport (DAD) and Singapore Changi Airport (SIN) on November 17, 2026, operated with Airbus A321 aircraft. The outbound service (VN691) departs Da Nang at 15:00 local, arriving Singapore at 18:45; the return (VN690) departs Singapore at 19:45, arriving Da Nang at 21:30.
The route brings Vietnam Airlines' total weekly Vietnam–Singapore frequency to 42 round trips, adding to its existing 14 weekly Hanoi–Singapore and 21 weekly Ho Chi Minh City–Singapore services. AeroRoutes notes the carrier last served Da Nang–Singapore briefly in the second quarter of 2022.
VnExpress International reports the airline cited strong market growth — arrivals from Singapore to Vietnam rose 29.8% year on year in the first nine months of 2026 — as the primary commercial rationale. Round-trip economy fares start at VND 5.266 million (approximately $204 including taxes), with tickets on sale for travel from November 17, 2026, through May 31, 2027.
The Da Nang launch is part of Vietnam Airlines' broader 2026 international network expansion, which also includes new services to Amsterdam, Colombo, and Phuket. The airline is additionally preparing to launch Hanoi–Ahmedabad on November 3 and Hanoi–Hangzhou on November 22.
