Delta Air Lines will resume daily nonstop service between John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Tel Aviv Ben Gurion Airport (TLV) on September 6, 2026. The airline confirmed the restart date during the week ending August 28, according to Business Travel News.

Flights operate on Airbus A330-900neo aircraft configured in four cabins: Delta One (lie-flat business), Premium Select, Comfort+, and Main Cabin. Delta suspended its Middle East operations after the onset of the Iran conflict, when Israeli airspace was restricted. The JFK-Tel Aviv resumption is Delta's first Israel route to return to service.

Delta's Atlanta-Tel Aviv service is planned to resume December 19, 2026. The carrier's Boston-Tel Aviv flights remain on indefinite hold, according to Wego Travel Blog. American Airlines does not plan to restart its JFK-Tel Aviv service before March 27, 2027.

The September 6 Delta resumption comes two days before United Airlines restarts its twice-daily Newark-Tel Aviv service on September 8, giving New York-area travelers options on both JFK and EWR within the same week. Delta operates its transatlantic network from JFK as its primary hub and is part of the Air France-KLM-Virgin Atlantic joint venture.
