Starlux Airlines launched daily nonstop service between Taipei Taoyuan International Airport (TPE) and Clark International Airport (CRK) in the Philippines on August 15, 2026, using Airbus A321neo aircraft configured in a two-class, 188-seat layout, per Simple Flying. Clark is Starlux's third Philippine destination, joining Manila and Cebu.

The Taipei-Clark service operates via two daily rotations. Flight JX789/790 serves the route on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays, with a Taipei departure at 07:45 and Clark arrival at 09:45; the return departs Clark at 10:45 and arrives Taipei at 12:45. A second rotation, JX791/792, covers Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays with a Taipei departure at 17:25 and Clark arrival at 19:25, combining for seven departures per week.

Starlux competes on the Taipei-Clark route with EVA Air, which also operates daily Airbus A321 service. Starlux's A321neo seats 28 more passengers per week than EVA Air's A321-200s on the same corridor, per Simple Flying. Clark is located in Pampanga province within the Clark Freeport Zone, a special economic area on the site of what was formerly Asia's largest US military base. Its status as a commercial and tourism hub, combined with its proximity to Manila, makes it attractive to both business travelers and North American passengers transiting Taipei.

Starlux's Taipei booking page confirms active sales for the Clark route from August 2026, with the airline currently operating 20 aircraft and serving 18 destinations worldwide after the addition.
