Air China will launch daily nonstop service from Beijing Daxing International Airport (PKX) to Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP) on June 13, 2026, operated by Airbus A330-300 aircraft under flight numbers CA749 (outbound) and CA750 (return). Outbound departures from Beijing depart at 13:00 local time, arriving Milan at 18:00 CET. The return flight departs Milan at 20:00, landing in Beijing at 12:10 the following day.
The Beijing Municipal Government's official portal confirmed the launch date and flight numbers in March 2026. Aviation Week includes it in the June 2026 roundup, and Aerospace Global News provides full schedule context.
The route is distinct from Air China's existing daily Beijing Capital (PEK)–Milan Malpensa service, which uses an Airbus A350. The Daxing service is part of a broader Air China strategy to develop PKX — the newer of Beijing's two major airports — as a long-haul hub. In April 2026 the carrier also launched a daily PKX–Frankfurt service (CA957/CA958), using a 777-300ER.
Chinese carriers operating into Europe benefit from access to Russian airspace, reducing flight times compared to Western competitors that must route around Russia. Air China's expanding European network from Daxing currently covers 23 destinations, per Routes Online, and the Daxing expansion is designed to serve connecting traffic from Air China's domestic morning bank.
