Air Arabia will begin daily nonstop service between Sharjah International Airport (SHJ) and Düsseldorf International Airport (DUS) on December 16, 2026, expanding the budget carrier's Germany network to three cities, according to AeroRoutes.
The route will be operated with Airbus A320neo aircraft. AeroRoutes published the schedule on August 27: flights G9403/G9404 operate Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday with morning departures from Sharjah (08:10) arriving Düsseldorf at 12:45, while flights G9412/G9413 operate on the remaining days as afternoon departures. Düsseldorf joins Frankfurt and Munich as Air Arabia's three German gateways from Sharjah.
Düsseldorf is Germany's third-largest city and the commercial hub of the densely populated Rhine-Ruhr region, home to major trade fairs and corporate headquarters across sectors including retail, telecommunications and financial services. Air Arabia Group CEO Adel Al Ali cited the route as another milestone in the airline's European expansion, with the winter 2026–27 season also bringing new Sharjah services to Gdansk, Frankfurt and Katowice.
Air Arabia's growing Poland and Germany cluster now collectively offers travellers across Central and Western Europe a budget alternative to full-service carriers on UAE routes. AviationShop and IndexBox both confirmed the launch details.
