Saudi low-cost carrier flyadeal launched nonstop flights between Jeddah King Abdulaziz International Airport (JED) and Milan Bergamo Airport (BGY) on July 1, 2026, marking the airline's debut in Italy. Flights operate three times weekly—on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays—using Airbus A320neo aircraft, with the seasonal programme running through September 26, 2026, according to Wego.
Aviation Week reported the launch confirmed flyadeal as the first Saudi carrier to introduce scheduled service from Jeddah to Italy, with Milan Bergamo Airport confirming that Saudi Arabia became the 45th country served from the airport during the 2026 summer season. Tickets are bookable directly on flyadeal.com.
The Jeddah–Bergamo route forms part of flyadeal's 12-route summer 2026 seasonal programme connecting five destinations with four Saudi cities, as Wego detailed. Alongside the Jeddah service, flyadeal launched a separate Riyadh–Milan Bergamo route on July 2. Both Italy routes are economy-only, consistent with the airline's low-cost model.
All seats are in economy class. Bergamo's Orio al Serio airport offers rail and bus connections to Milan city centre and is a common entry point for budget travelers to northern Italy.
