JetBlue Airways will launch daily nonstop service between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and Alfonso Bonilla Aragon International Airport in Cali, Colombia (CLO), starting October 15, 2026. The route was announced on July 9, 2026, as part of the airline's largest-ever schedule build-up at Fort Lauderdale JetBlue press release via Yahoo Finance.
Cali, Colombia's third-largest city and a major commercial and cultural center in the country's southwest, will become the second new Colombian destination JetBlue launches from FLL in autumn 2026, following a Barranquilla service commencing October 1. Both routes are part of a strategic push to capture market share vacated by Spirit Airlines, which shut down in May 2026 AirlineGeeks.
JetBlue already serves Bogota and Cartagena from FLL, making Cali its third Colombian destination from the airport. The airline also plans new FLL routes to Indianapolis and Columbus, Ohio (both November 2), San Diego (November 19), and Caracas, Venezuela, subject to regulatory approval AirlineGeeks.
With the full autumn expansion, JetBlue projects reaching approximately 150 daily departures from FLL in the 2026-27 winter season, up more than 75% year over year. The carrier has also taken over gate space in the former Spirit terminal at FLL's Terminal 4 for international operations Sun Sentinel.
