Official airport taxis are available 24/7 at the taxi ranks located directly outside Arrivals 1 and 2. The journey to downtown Zürich takes approximately 15-20 minutes and fares are metered, typically costing between CHF 50 and CHF 70. Most taxis accept major credit cards.
The car rental center is located in the Airport Center on Level 1. Major international companies such as Sixt, Hertz, Avis, Europcar, and Budget are represented. After booking, vehicles are picked up and returned at the P3 parking garage. A valid driver's license and credit card are required.
Zürich Airport has its own train station located directly beneath the Airport Center. It is the most efficient way to reach the city. Trains run every 5-10 minutes to Zürich's main station (Zürich HB), with a journey time of only 10-15 minutes. Additionally, Tram line 10 offers a direct, more scenic route to the city center (approx. 35-40 minutes), and a regional bus terminal serves surrounding areas. Tickets can be purchased from SBB machines, counters, or the mobile app.
The surface for Geneva's (LSGG) 04/22 runway is reported as "CONC" while the description for the values in the data dictionary says the value for concrete should be "CON" (concrete)
Zurich Airport is the largest international airport of Switzerland and the principal hub of Swiss International Air Lines. It serves Zürich, Switzerland's largest city, and, with its surface transport links, much of the rest of the country. The airport is located 13 kilometres north of central Zürich, in the municipalities of Kloten, Rümlang, Oberglatt, Winkel, and Opfikon, all of which are within the canton of Zürich.
At this airport there is an excellent children's area! They got pretty much anything you need to feed, clean, entertain and rest your kids!
