Taxis are available 24/7 at the official taxi rank located directly outside the arrivals terminal. The service is metered and provides direct transportation to Olbia city center, Porto Cervo, and other destinations along the Costa Smeralda. While convenient, it is the most expensive option, especially for longer journeys.
A dedicated car rental terminal is located a short walk from the main arrivals hall. It hosts numerous international and local agencies, including Avis, Hertz, Europcar, and Sixt. Renting a car is a popular option for exploring Sardinia. It is highly recommended to book in advance, especially during the busy summer season, to ensure availability and better pricing.
Public buses operated by ARST are the most economical option. Local bus lines (e.g., No. 2 and No. 10) connect the airport directly with Olbia's city center and train station. Regional buses also depart from the airport, providing connections to major towns and tourist resorts across the island, such as Nuoro, Santa Teresa Gallura, and Palau. The bus stop is located outside the arrivals area, and tickets can be purchased from a machine at the stop.

No 100 LL served anymore. Surprising decision to exclude all pistons engines. No Notam mentioned it on international basis, just internal Italian information. Now in Sardinia, only Cagliari is serving 100 LL at crazy price of 3,02 Euros/liters ! !!!!!
