Taxi stands are located directly in front of Terminal B and are available 24/7. A trip to Leipzig city center takes approximately 30 minutes, while a trip to Halle (Saale) city center takes about 25 minutes. Fares are metered.
The car rental center is situated in the multi-storey car park, directly opposite Terminal B. Major international companies such as Sixt, Europcar, Avis, and Hertz have service desks here. Pre-booking is recommended for best availability and pricing.
The airport has an integrated train station located directly beneath the check-in terminal. The S-Bahn (suburban train) lines S5 and S5X offer fast and frequent connections, reaching Leipzig Central Station in about 15 minutes and Halle (Saale) Central Station in about 12 minutes. The airport is also a stop for long-distance bus services.
