Riyadh Air will launch daily nonstop service between Riyadh King Khalid International Airport (RUH) and Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka (DAC) on August 7, 2026, using Boeing 787-9 aircraft. Flights depart Riyadh at 21:20, arriving in Dhaka at 06:10 the following morning, with economy return fares starting from SAR 1,420 (approximately US$379), according to Connecting Travel.
The Dhaka route was announced on June 29, 2026, alongside new services to Málaga and Kuala Lumpur, as Riyadh Air continues its rapid network buildout following its commercial launch in June. Aviation Week confirmed the daily frequency, with the carrier describing the service as targeting business travelers, tourists, pilgrims, and VFR traffic—a passenger mix reflective of the substantial Bangladeshi expatriate community in Saudi Arabia.
Schedule data published by AeroRoutes via Ground News confirms the route as flight RX763/RX764 operating daily with the 787-9. Aviation A2Z noted that while Riyadh Air had not issued a formal frequency statement at the time of announcement, its booking website displayed the Dhaka route as a daily service.
Dhaka is Riyadh Air's first Bangladesh destination and part of a South/Southeast Asia expansion that also includes Kuala Lumpur.
