Air Arabia will launch nonstop service between Sharjah International Airport (SHJ) and Amman City Airport (ADJ) on 15 November 2026, confirmed in an official press release. The service operates four times weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Published times show outbound flight G9 169 departing Sharjah at 08:00 and arriving Amman at 10:30, with return flight G9 170 departing Amman at 11:20 and arriving Sharjah at 15:15.
Amman City Airport (ADJ) is a separate facility from Amman's Queen Alia International Airport (AMM), as clarified by Deep Arrival. The new route marks Air Arabia's second Jordanian airport served from Sharjah, complementing its existing nonstop flights to Queen Alia. Aviation Week notes the addition gives Air Arabia two destinations in the Jordanian capital from Sharjah.
The Air Arabia Group already serves Amman City Airport through its subsidiary Air Arabia Abu Dhabi, which launched three-weekly service from Zayed International Airport to ADJ in May 2026. The group's press release notes additional ADJ service from Alexandria International Airport as part of its broader Jordan network.
Passengers can book the new Sharjah–ADJ route on Air Arabia's website, via its call centre, or through travel agencies, the airline confirmed.
