Romanian carrier Dan Air will launch twice-weekly nonstop service between Bucharest Henri Coandă International Airport (OTP) and Zvartnots International Airport Yerevan (EVN) from July 4, 2026. Flights operate on Tuesdays and Saturdays using Airbus A320 aircraft.

The Bucharest–Yerevan route launches on the same date as Bucharest–Tbilisi, as part of Dan Air's coordinated third-quarter 2026 Caucasus and Middle East expansion. The third new route, Bucharest–Amman, begins three days earlier on July 1 with higher three-weekly frequency.

Yerevan, Armenia's capital, has seen growing demand from European low-cost operators in recent years, driven by tourism, diaspora traffic, and the city's reputation as an emerging cultural and culinary destination. The route provides Romanian passengers a direct connection to Armenia, eliminating previously required hub connections via Istanbul, Vienna, or other transfer points.

AeroRoutes confirmed the schedule data (published May 19, 2026, 22:00 PDT). Travel and Tour World, Flight Directors, and The Romania Journal independently reported the same details, with Dan Air's own Instagram confirming all four simultaneous new destinations including Yerevan.

All three new routes use Airbus A320 aircraft. Dan Air is a Romanian LCC founded in 2021, operating from Bucharest OTP and secondary Romanian airports.
