BA CityFlyer, the wholly owned regional subsidiary of British Airways, launched twice-weekly nonstop flights from London City Airport (LCY) to Toulon-Hyères Airport (TLN) on 23 May 2026, operating seasonally through 1 September 2026. Flights run on Tuesdays and Saturdays using Embraer 190 aircraft, with fares from £90 one-way.
The route is the only nonstop London service to Toulon. Toulon-Hyères Airport sits approximately 30 miles from St. Tropez, making it the closest commercial airport to the glamorous Riviera resort, according to British Airways' press release. The new service becomes BA CityFlyer's fourth French destination from London City, joining Nice, Bergerac, and Chambéry.
"We are thrilled to launch the only London route to the beautiful city of Toulon, strengthening London's connection to the south of France alongside our popular BA CityFlyer service to Nice," said Anne Doyere, Aviation Director at London City Airport, quoted by Yahoo News UK.
BA CityFlyer operates up to 25 routes from London City Airport with a fleet of 20 Embraer 190 aircraft. The Toulon launch is part of a broader summer 2026 leisure expansion that also added new seasonal services to Olbia, Sardinia (from London Stansted) and San Sebastián, Spain (from London Gatwick). Travel Bulletin confirmed the first departure took place on Saturday 23 May.
