Official airport taxis are available 24/7 directly outside the Arrivals terminal. They operate on fixed, regulated fares to destinations across Amman and other Jordanian cities. Ride-hailing services such as Uber and Careem are also available for pickups and drop-offs.
A variety of international and local car rental companies have service desks located in the Arrivals Hall. Major providers include Avis, Budget, Hertz, Sixt, and Thrifty. Pre-booking online is often recommended, especially during peak seasons, to ensure availability and better rates.
The Sariyah Airport Express Bus offers an affordable and reliable connection between the airport and Amman's North Bus Station (Tabarbour). The bus runs frequently throughout the day and on a reduced schedule overnight, with several convenient stops along its route, including the 7th Circle.
I arrived just before 11 pm for a 1 am flight. The checking and security lines were fast and efficient (much better than at a North American airport), and most of the restaurants and businesses were still open at midnight and beyond. On arrival, the passport/visa line was a bit disorganised, but on departure, I'd rate this as one of the best airports I've passed through.
This is airport is great. I have only one problem. Luggage arrives at QAIA from Kuwait Airport at what luggage carousel.
I found the airport excellent - far better than many other airports. I came from Istanbul, and left a few days later to Bangkok. My experience - visa etc was that the airport is efficient, very modern, and offers a low stress arrival/departure. I saw no evidence for the complaints I have seen others make of the airport.

Says on the site no delay, but it was delayed 90 minutes!!
Too bad .Flight Status stays unchanged for hours..No updates
