Taxis are available 24/7 directly outside the arrivals terminal. The journey to Porto's city center takes approximately 20-30 minutes and typically costs €25-€35, with fares being metered. Ride-sharing services like Uber and Bolt also operate from the airport with designated pick-up zones.
Major car rental companies, including Sixt, Avis, Europcar, Hertz, and Budget, have service desks located in the arrivals hall. It is advisable to book a vehicle in advance, particularly during peak seasons, to ensure availability and secure better pricing.
The airport is directly connected to the city center via the Metro. Line E (Violet) runs every 20-30 minutes and reaches the Trindade station in the city center in about 30 minutes. Tickets (rechargeable Andante card) can be purchased from machines at the station. Several public bus lines (STCP 601, 602, 604) and shuttle services to other cities like Braga and Guimarães are also available.
