The official, recommended taxi partner at Sofia Airport is 'OK Supertrans'. Their service desks are located in the arrivals halls of both terminals, and their cars wait at the designated taxi ranks just outside. It is strongly advised to use the official service and avoid unsolicited offers from individuals inside the terminal to prevent overcharging. Fares are metered.
Numerous car rental companies operate at Sofia Airport, with service desks located in the arrivals areas of both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Major international and local providers are available, including Hertz, Avis, Sixt, Europcar, Budget, and Top Rent A Car. It is advisable to book a vehicle in advance, especially during peak travel seasons.
Sofia Airport is efficiently connected to the city's public transport network.
METRO: Metro Line M4 (Yellow Line) provides a direct and fast connection from Terminal 2 to the city center (e.g., Serdika Station) in approximately 20 minutes. A free shuttle bus operates between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 every 30 minutes, allowing passengers from T1 to access the metro.
BUSES: Public bus lines 84 and 184 connect both terminals to the city center (Gen. Gurko Str.). Bus line 384 serves other parts of the city. Tickets can be purchased from kiosks or ticket machines at the airport stops.

Hi,
Both 27 and 09 are Cat III B
09 was upgraded not long ago.
Auto Landing?
If you mean ILS approach, yes they do. Only 10% are visual approaches. Runway 27 is ILS CAT IIIA an RWY 09 is CAT I. CAT IIIA is the second best available nowadays. For more information en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Instrument_landing_system
Hi all.
Just wondering why aircraft don't do auto landings with all the money that was spent on upgrading the new terminal/runway.
