Official taxis are available at a rank located directly outside the arrivals terminal building. They meet all scheduled flights and operate on a metered fare system, providing a convenient way to reach destinations across the island like Santa Cruz de La Palma and Los Cancajos.
Several car rental agencies have desks within the arrivals hall, including major international companies (Hertz, Avis) and popular local providers (Cicar, TopCar, AutoReisen). It is highly recommended to book your vehicle in advance, especially during peak tourist seasons. Cars are picked up from the airport's car park.
The airport is served by the island's public bus network ('guaguas'). Bus line 500 runs a regular route connecting the airport with the capital, Santa Cruz de La Palma, and the main tourist area of Los Cancajos. The bus stop is located just outside the arrivals terminal.
