The airline began operations on July 24, 2021, initially under the name "Eurowings Discover," and was officially rebranded as Discover Airlines on September 5, 2023. The airline plans to expand its fleet to 40 aircraft by mid-2028, including the introduction of Airbus A350s and additional A320s, while retiring its A330-200s by 2026 to standardize its long-haul fleet with A330-300s.
