- Business Lounge: The Business Lounge at KRK is well-regarded, located airside near Gate 2, accessible to Priority Pass holders, and offers light snacks and ample seating for both Schengen and non-Schengen flights.
- Scenic Location: Travelers appreciate the airport's proximity to natural attractions like the Tatra Mountains, making it a convenient departure point after exploring southern Poland.
- Airline Communication Failures: A significant complaint arose from a Ryanair flight cancellation in April 2026, where passengers experienced profound communication failures, receiving contradictory information and relying on social media for updates rather than official channels.
- Inadequate Airport Support During Disruptions: During the April 2026 incident, KRK faced criticism for inadequate support systems. This included terminal shops and cafes closing for several hours overnight, insufficient seating, limited charging stations, and no clear designated areas for overnight accommodation, leaving hundreds of passengers stranded in freezing temperatures.
- Limited Facilities During Off-Hours: During the aforementioned disruption, passengers reported that terminal shops and cafes shuttered for several hours overnight, eliminating access to hot beverages and warm food.
