Norwegian Air Shuttle will launch a new seasonal service between Tromso Airport (TOS) in northern Norway and Glasgow Airport (GLA) in Scotland starting December 11, 2026. The route will operate twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays through March 22, 2027, covering the full Arctic winter and Northern Lights season. Published schedules show the Tromso to Glasgow service departing at 11:10 and arriving at 13:15, while the return flight from Glasgow departs at 13:55 and arrives in Tromso at 17:45 Glasgow Airport. The Monday-Friday schedule is specifically designed to accommodate both short breaks and longer holidays.
Tromso is one of Europe's most sought-after Arctic winter destinations, known for Northern Lights viewing, whale safaris, and snow-covered fjord landscapes. Norwegian is targeting growing demand from Scottish travelers seeking direct access to the Arctic, while also connecting Norwegian passengers to Glasgow as a gateway to the Scottish Highlands TravelWires.
