Official taxis are available at a designated stand outside the arrivals hall of the terminal building. Ride-hailing services, such as Didi Chuxing, are also a common and convenient option for travel to and from the airport.
Major Chinese car rental companies offer services at Ezhou Huahu Airport, though booking in advance is recommended. Please note that foreign visitors are required to have a valid Chinese driver's license to rent and operate a vehicle in mainland China; an International Driving Permit (IDP) alone is not sufficient.
The airport is a major transportation hub with excellent public transit links.
- High-Speed Rail: The airport has an integrated high-speed railway station, Ezhou Huahu Station (鄂州花湖站), directly connected to the terminal. This provides fast train connections to Wuhan, and other cities across the national network.
- Airport Buses: Dedicated intercity airport shuttle buses connect the airport to the main bus terminals and key locations in the surrounding cities of Ezhou, Huangshi, and Huanggang.
