May I request our MP Mr. Kirti Jha Azad and Mr. Hukum Dev Narayan Yadav (surprisingly both belonging to BJP, to ask the Central government on our behalf to speed up the work of Darbhanga Airport, which will facilitate the public of this peaceful region and contribute in development of the zone.

As per UDAN scheme, it was supposed flight to and fro from Darbhanga, it's in media but no progress on ground works. Request you please expedite this.

Requesting the respected MPs, Civil Aviation ministry to expedite this noble work so that we could enjoy our holiday at our villages rather in trains like Sautantra Sainani, which takes 30 to 40 hours to reach Darbhanga and never runs on time, in that way people who are working in private sector spares most of the holiday travelling. It will be boon to our region. People of Darbhanga, Madhubani, Sitamadhi, Samastipur, Jainagar and Muzaffarpur will be able to celebrate their festival at home, Airlines will be able to generate revenue exponentially during Diwali, Chhat, Holi and Durgapuja.

May I request our sitting MP Mr. Kirti Jha Azad and Mr. Hukum Dev Narayan Yadav (surprisingly both belonging to BJP), to raise the issue with Central government on our behalf to speed up the work of Darbhanga Airport, which will facilitate the public of this peaceful region and contribute in developing the zone.

There is a chance of Darbhanga airport revival in the second round of UDAN Scheme. There is a good chance of Darbhanga-Delhi, Darbhanga-Bangalore flight. We will come to know on 20th Dec, when final result will be announced.

Don't know why the Indian air force always have to compensate its security for the welfare of nation's civilians. At this rate, terrorists would easily be able to get a sight on the nation's military hardware and thus, the national security will be hampered. Even china does not let civilian flights operate from military bases only in extreme cases they do so and this is not one of those! It works like that only, civilians enjoy everything and military men have to work hard to protect these goofs.

Darbhanga airport will benefit not only people from Darbhnaga but surrounding area including Madhubani, Supaul etc.

I am living in Bahrain and have a base in New Delhi. However I hail from Darbhanga. The bridge between Patna & Hazipur is in such a bad state that twice I almost missed my flight. I manage to catch these flights since flight was delayed. I am unable to understand if Kutch ( In remote area of Gujarat) can have airport & three weekly flight. Why cannot we have at least one or two flight a week to darbhanga?

Darbhanga town had airport services in the past and having sufficient places to start air services then why we don't start regular services to at-least big cities of India.

I would like to pull the attention of Air Port Authority of Darbhanga & Management Team of Airlines. Since 10 year myself living in Dubai UAE and desperately looking for the air services between Darbhanga to Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkatta. A huge number of Passenger working at Gulf countries specially belong from Darbhanga Madhubani Samasthipur will avoid to take flight via Patna because of heavy traffic on Gandhi Setu. Couple of time it was happen with myself, family & friends, schedule flight was take off & we stuck at horrible traffic. due to change in demographic of population "young generation" and convenient mode of transportation it worth to kick start Air services from Darbhanga ASAP.

I am grateful to the owner of Spirit Air to launch Flight Service from Darbhanga Airport. But my request is that the commercial flights like Indigo, Jet Airways, SpiceJet, GoAir and Indain Airlines should also operate from Darbhanga Airport. It will be beneficial for the people of Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Madhubani, Samastipur, Sitamadhi, Sheohar, Champaran, Saharsa, Purnea, Supaul, Madhepura, Arariya.
Chartered Flight is not sufficient for these districts. To make it beneficial for the people of above mentioned districts, commercial flights Indigo, Jet Airways, SpiceJet, GoAir and Indain Airlines should also start their services from Darbhanga Airport.

It is not the matter of prestige or privileged. We are in the deep need of our own airport at Darbhanga.

There is urgent need for a direct flight, connecting south india & Darbhanga region ( darbhanga, samastipur, Madhubani etc etc.) As per my estimate there are around 1 lakh IT engineers & lakhs other are working in Bangalore & Hyderabad regions. Most of the passengers travelling from Patna are from Darbhnaga region only. Pls look into it.
