Official airport taxis, known as 'remises', are the most recommended option. You can book and pre-pay for a fixed-rate journey at official kiosks inside the arrivals hall (e.g., Taxi Ezeiza). Ride-sharing apps like Uber and Cabify also operate, but pickup points may be less defined and require coordination with the driver.
Major international and local car rental companies have desks in the arrivals area of Terminal A. Brands like Hertz, Avis, Localiza, and Europcar are available. It is advisable to book your vehicle in advance, especially during peak tourist seasons, to secure availability and better pricing.
Public transit options include shuttle buses and a city bus line. Shuttle services, such as Tienda LeĂłn, provide a comfortable and direct connection to their terminal in the city center (Puerto Madero) and can be booked at their counter in arrivals. For a budget option, the public bus (Colectivo Line 8) connects the airport to the city, but the journey is long (up to 2 hours) and requires a pre-paid SUBE card to ride.
I was flying from Ezeiza to Ushuaia and Terminal One was so small, crowded and terrible. I had to wake up at 2:00 AM for a 7:00 AM flight and we took off at 11:00 AM. Aerolineas Argentinas and Terminal 1 were terrible, but Terminal 2 was Great!
TERMINAL 2: I was flying on American Airlines from MIA-EZE and customs was ok, some kid barfed in the line and the customs line was a little long but the customs agent was nice and we got thru easily, it was modern and had restaurants, cafes and more.
I'm not sure if ILS35 is operating........... devices were out of service since some years ago...... instead airport authorities deny the obvious.
