Ground Transportation

Last updated: Jul 23, 2025
Taxis

Metered (yellow) and fixed-rate coupon (white) taxis are readily available at the designated taxi bay outside the arrivals terminal. Ride-hailing services, such as Grab, are also a popular and widely used option for pickups at the airport.

Rental Cars

Several car rental companies, including international brands like Avis and Hertz as well as local providers, have counters or representatives within the arrivals hall. It is advisable to book a vehicle in advance, especially during peak travel seasons.

Public Transportation

For a more local and budget-friendly option, jeepneys and multicabs are accessible by walking a short distance from the terminal to the main highway (Daang Maharlika Highway). These vehicles connect to various points within Davao City. There are no direct city bus or train services from the terminal building.

Educational Tour Posted by on December 8, 2015

Good day , sir.
In behalf of all the Electronics Engineering students here in University of Southern Mindanao, Kabacan, North Cotabato, I, Epis, Ian, would like to inquire if the airport could help us by conducting a field study and seminar to your facilities for us to learn more about Navigational Aids and Devices. Since Nav-Aid is one of course here in USM, especially in Electronics Engineering department, we are really eager to learn and we could achieve this if you could lend us a hand to introduce this to us first-hand. Most of our lecturing here are purely theoretical. We want to experience the technicality side. We are currently studying on the aircrafts nav-aids e.g. ADF, VOR, DME, LRRA, GPWS, TCAS, and ILS. We are very happy if one of your personnel will respond to this comment of mine. Please contact me: 09283647680 to make this agreement formalize. God bless everyone.

No overnight stay Posted by on July 7, 2015

Planning to see more... Posted by Ohmandd on November 25, 2013

I've only flown into/out of DVO once. This single runway airport is comparable to a small town U.S. runway. I am planning to return soon and I will be visiting the local flight school. Davao has modern amenities in the local area and is recommended as a place to check out.

security Posted by on July 8, 2013

More International Flights Posted by on May 31, 2013

I wish that Davao should have many International flights ang should be expanded.. because what is the use of our international airport if there are no international flights.. so better add some.. then there should be an airport expansion.. Thank you! :D

Parallel Taxiway Posted by on December 8, 2012

i wish the government will push through this important segment of the airport, this is one of the reason why other foreign airline refused to fly in Davao because of lack of a parallel taxiway, they can turn 360 degrees on the tip of the runway and it cause any unwanted damage in the wheel area...i hope the government will build this ASAP because Davao Airport meet already its passenger capacity and it grows rapidly...It needs expansion ASAP
