Air Tahiti is the sole carrier, operating scheduled flights that connect Apataki with Faa'a International Airport (PPT) in Papeete, often with intermediate stops at other atolls in the Tuamotu group. The flight schedule is limited, typically consisting of only a few flights per week, reflecting the small local population and modest visitor numbers.

The airport's facilities are basic and reflect its remote location and small scale. The infrastructure consists of a single runway and a small, functional terminal building, which is often an open-air shelter.
