Official Gibraltar taxis are readily available from the taxi rank located directly outside the airport terminal building. They meet all scheduled flight arrivals and can take you to any destination within Gibraltar. Fares are regulated, and it is a convenient, direct option for reaching hotels or the city centre.
Car rental desks, including companies like Avis and the local provider Autos Aguirre, are situated inside the arrivals hall. It is highly recommended to book your vehicle in advance, especially during peak tourist season. Many travelers also opt to rent cars from agencies in the adjacent Spanish town of La LĂnea de la ConcepciĂłn, which is a short walk across the border.
The Gibraltar Bus Company provides an affordable connection to the city. The bus stop is located a very short walk from the terminal. Routes 5 and 10 serve the airport, connecting it to the city centre (Market Place) and other areas. Due to the airport's proximity, it is also possible to walk to the city centre in about 15-20 minutes, which includes the unique experience of walking across the runway.
