Official taxi services are available 24/7 at the rank located directly outside the arrivals area of Terminal A. The main operator is Radio Taxi Catania. The journey to Catania's city center takes approximately 15-20 minutes, with fares typically ranging from €25 to €35. Fares are metered, but it's always recommended to confirm the estimated cost with the driver before starting your trip.
A wide range of car rental companies, including major international brands like Hertz, Avis, Sixt, and Europcar, as well as local Italian firms, operate at the airport. Rental desks are found in the arrivals hall. The car pickup and drop-off lots are located in a separate rental car area, which is easily accessible via a short walk or a complimentary shuttle bus service that runs frequently from the terminal. The airport is well-connected by bus. The AMT 'Alibus' provides a frequent and direct service (every 25 minutes) connecting the airport to Catania's city center and the central railway station (Stazione Centrale). The bus terminal is located just outside the arrivals exit.
