Taxis are available on the ground level, just east of the main terminal's baggage claim area. Authorized companies include VIP Taxi and Yellow Cab. Ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft also operate at TUS, with designated pickup zones on the east and west ends of the commercial roadway on the lower level.
The Rental Car Center is located directly across the street from the main terminal, easily accessible via a short walk. It houses counters for major agencies including Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National, and Thrifty.
Tucson's public bus system, Sun Tran, provides service to the airport. The bus stop is located on the commercial roadway on the lower level of the main terminal. Sun Tran Route 11 and Route 25 connect the airport to downtown Tucson and other areas.

I arrived in TUS late Saturday night on a delayed United Airlines flight. I suspect we were the last flight in. The airport was mostly empty, aside from a few cleaners, security staff, etc., but there were still a lot of taxis waiting outside at the queue, which was a relief.
