Taxis are available on-demand 24/7. At Terminal 1, the taxi stand is on the Tram Level (Level T). At Terminal 2, it is in the Ground Transport Center. Fares are metered. App-based ride services like Uber and Lyft also have designated pickup zones at both terminals.
Major rental car companies (including Alamo, Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz, National) have counters at both terminals. At Terminal 1, they are located on the 2nd and 3rd floors between the Blue and Red parking ramps. At Terminal 2, they are in the Ground Transport Center on the ground level of the Purple parking ramp.
The METRO Blue Line light rail connects both airport terminals to downtown Minneapolis and the Mall of America. The light rail is free to ride between terminals. Additionally, Metro Transit's Route 54 bus serves Terminal 1, providing service to St. Paul and the Mall of America. Both options are accessible from the Transit Center.
Great amenities and food options. Clean and well maintained. Good conference center for meetings.
I think this is one of the nicer airports I have been to in the U.S. Lots of shops, restaurants. They have these cafes where you can order using ipads at the table. So everyone is sitting there with their phones out and also a huge ipad in front of them.
