Taxis are available on demand at the taxi stand located outside of the baggage claim area. Ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft also operate at the airport, with designated pick-up zones outside the terminal.
Rental car counters are conveniently located inside the terminal building in the baggage claim area. Companies available on-site include Alamo, Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz, and National. The rental car lot is a short walk from the terminal.
The Greater Dayton RTA (Regional Transit Authority) provides public bus service. Route 43 connects the airport directly to the Wright Stop Plaza Transit Center in downtown Dayton, allowing for transfers to other routes. The bus stop is located curbside at the front of the terminal.
I went from my home airport of DCA to DAY, it is amazing how it there are direct flights. We were on a CRJ-900 that was 3/4s Full but when we walked to the baggage claim it was long but nobody was there, like nobody. Even the people on our plane, the place was deserted but eventually we got to baggage claim.
